| The possibility of building cinemas in the centre of the cities makes necessary to rethink the current typology of this program. New configurations, structure solutions, and sequences of activities will bring back the cinema as public institution into the cities, with spatial and urban qualities. This project creates a reference and a prototype for the cinema container that combines profitability, technology, activity, and public space inside the cities and provides an alternative to the multiplex in the outskirts. The project is located in Rome where the typology of the spectacle has always had a big significance in history. |
