The organizations of the town implies the flexibility to develop new nodes as the town expands. Distances between each core of activity remain at walkable scale, guiding town development away from an uncontrolled sprawl out from only one active center. People have the flexibility to shift within the town as their lifestyles evolve. Thus the scale of the neighborhoods remains small and personal while providing a focal point of facilities for public use, creating a unique sense of community for each node. Overlaps of nodes create pockets, or secondary nodes, providing neighborhood parks for recreational and organized activities. This allows not only residents of different neighborhoods, but also a combination of dogwalkers, picknickers, children, and others to coexist and mingle in a relaxed setting.
