It’s possible to recollect rain water from surrounding hills(subject to landslides)and forcing it in channels along the top of the former highway route to reach tanks or scenographic waterfalls to provide hydroelectric power to feed the new support system.
A 80 KW mini-hydroelectric power station costs 120.000 €; creating infastructures, environmental engineering, water ways and paths reusing the highway trail will result around 300.000 €/Km,offering the chance to work by sections depending on funds availability.
We see this 10km line in the middle of the hills as constituted by series of planned interferences: aerial water ways interrupted by waterfalls for energy creation, reservoirs and water tanks in tunnels, coexisting with a people mover system, horse and bicycle paths and places to stay, study or research in connection to the green landscape and traditional roads on the hills.
A line that will transport both physical and psichical energies. Brain and rain – duct.
