Roads connect. Disabling this connection by removing small parts of the concrete deck generates a series of instances that can be used as and when needed, hence slow. We populate these islands with indigenous plants, trees and some tropical palms. Over time and with proper horticultural care the islands will transform into lush gardens. Some islands might be immediately taken over by the local people, as bar, single-bedroomhostel or vertical axis wind turbine support and some may find a use in time.
