The highway is divided into 10 eco-driven habitats, tunnels included, each representing its own energy cycle. With a broad diversity in program from human recreation and camping to high-tech energy plants, science-centre with exhibition and info, over guano producing bat-tunnels, to the reuse and purification and transportation of water from the new highway. The implementation of the habitats will be managed in separate phases, involving the local communities and scientists. The northern lane serves as the main area for technical innovations while the lower lane shows a rich biodiversity, and transportation by car, bike and by foot. The architectural attitude is to reuse existing structures and surfaces. This is seen in the use of three layers, hard surface - existing road surface, perforated surface – a container, providing space for installations, soil and water and the E-generator surface – vegetation and technological installations such as wind- and sun parks, biogasplants etc.
