The nodal places are the places of transparency. Exploding structures of the communication-volume propagates and multiplies, becomes a supporting structure for the fragments of the nodal places, and then dissolves away. Altogether, the conglomeration of the fragments gives birth to a place where diverse people and cultures come together. A nodal place -the civic place- is fragmented and at the same time a whole. It is a whole where the individual parts are vibrant; and as a whole, it is altogether more vibrant.
