Containing residential blocks, commercial zones, civic functions and a non-vehicular system of rail lines, the stacked loop bundles share spaces and spectacular landscapes while simultaneously working as a multivalent networking device. This infrastructural band is not a monolith imposed on the existing environment, but rather a hovering, permeable layer above the ground plane, confronting traditional notions of how to situate nature(outside) and habitus (inside). As such, its socially and environmentally sustainable design allows for both prescribed and spontaneous engagement in and between the enclaves, while distributing amenities and circulation systems in an accessible manner.
