"Mosqu" (MOving SQUare) is a square formed by a light modular structure, easily removable, and easy to compose again in another space. The structure supporting the square is formed by steel studs, that support a transparent floor.Under that floor there are a lot of leds. This square is regulated by a calendar of events, that vary both during the day and according to seasons and to space in which is placed. During the different activities, square’s leds allow to put a composition together of different forms, for example, the stripes of a five a side’s or tennis’ fields. Thanks to different composition of leds is possible to use the square in many ways, and the activities could be also not planned before, and so in that way, the square always becomes an original place. The activities could be also proposed by citizens. Each year the square turns around the city, and so it can be easily reached by people from different districts.
