Our ambition for Parco Solare Sud is to set a world exemplar of an integrated sustainable development for the promotion of a green economy which we call: GREEN ROUTE CYCLE RUNWAY It will consists of: CAPTURED “GREEN” RUNWAYS To appropriate all forms of current renewable energy technologies to maintain & service the route ORGANIC & WILD “GREEN” RUNWAYS To augment the natural beauty of the area with native plant landscaping & enjoy the harvest of organically grown fruits & vegetables COMMUNITY “GREEN” RUNWAYS For local community leisure activities eg bocce lanes and farmer’s market to sell local organic produce & crafts CREATIVE “GREEN” RUNWAYS For public art & interactive water features “GREEN” TUNNEL RUNWAYS To use tunnels as a water management system SUNFLOWER SOLAR COMFORT ZONES “ Sunflower pods” to service the route eg cafes, toilets, revolving restaurant & to house research and education centres for renewable energies, sustainablity & climate change
