The occasion is to rewrite the existing: we prefer deconstruction to demolition, with a change of meaning of these motorway remains, planned with international level quality, but also with the self-reference that connoted and still connotes the italic infrastructural interventions. The new role is to make systematic and launch the quality agricultural activities (wine, bergamot) and tourist ones, providing them with technological systems centered on renewable energies, that are laid on the ground in the shape of photovoltaic greenhouses structured on “armacìe” and with small colorful aeolian blades on the “precious” viaducts, hydro-geologically and artistically reorganizing the landscape. The discarded galleries are the occasion to endow, without new buildings, the agricultural territory system to support, rural production. To the viaduct hanging gardens grip, protected from the wind by wooden wrappings reminding “vimini and panari” of the artisan tradition of Calabria.
