Territorial Setting:
The engineering begins with the recovery of the dismissed highway part long approximately 7 Km. It overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea between Scilla and Bagnara. It includes 11 viaducts, various tunnels and several construction site paths used for the construction of the new highway.

Description of the work:
Tunnels equipped with solar panels designed as a continuous and linear solution with low visual impact. An aeolian system inside the pillars uses the pressure difference created by irradiation (temperature gradient) and by a Venturi pipe on top of the pillar. A museum of electricity is established inside the tunnels. A nature trail is obtained from recovery of the abandoned small paths and mule tracks which go from the sea to the mountains crossing the highway, and a mountain bike trail from recovery of the construction site paths and of some mule tracks. Possibility of reforestation of the paths and construction site areas and of using solar panels in the dumps.
