The Parco Solare Sud project idea has been conceived as the first step to build the en plein air museum on a regional scale along the route of the SA-RC motorway where there are a large number of viaducts of high aesthetic and cultural value. The key idea of the project is to form a spine of 7,5 km-the old route-intercepting at different levels a range of cross systems such as rivers,roads, and trail constructions. On the settlement level the strategy aims at transforming the exisisting infrastructure in a system capable of thoroughly distributing an extensive area located between the coast and a plateau about 600m above sea level and representing the park cross-extension. In particular the energy issue has been taken as an opportunity to testing a formal possible integration with the exsisting viaducts by investigating,first,the problems related to finding a level of standard intervention.
