So many concerns are rising nowadays about energy. While most of the efforts are addressed to produce more energy in a clean way, few people are questioning if we really need the energy we eventually ask. The amount of energy required for daily activities is conceived as for granted. We rather believe in the importance of looking at the amount we daily consume.

We test this idea on the 10 Km long infrastructure. In order to move inhabitants require a lot of energy (both direct and indirect, from the fuel, to the disposal of used tyres after their life-cycle or the transportation of the several car components). Instead of producing more clean energy, we propose to reduce the energy consumption by using the existing infrastructure.
The really needs are the movements for people and goods within the area, the excesses are everything we ever used to do it. Cars, highways, lorries and everything connected to them, from the asphalt for the roads to traffic signals.
