elastik is organised between amsterdam and ljubljana as a net of individuals that join project groups relative to specific demands of a certain project or its committer, as the name says. as an architectural studio it exists beyond geographical limits as a flexible cluster of virtual studios. elastik has been founded in 2001 by igor kebel and mika cimolini who wish to avoid the routine in architecture practice ruled by political autocracies, master creators and pragmatism. elastik develops personalised spaces for daily use, composed of material and non-material components within a "critical geometry".
