| Besides a kilometre long boardwalk, the new esplanade includes a number of poles placed in groups on the beach and in the water. The poles both work as sculptures, light poles, climbing frames and as measure instruments for how the wind blows, the forces of nature, and the travelling time. Towards north, the sea is embraced by a swimming pool while a pier in the southern end reaches towards the horizon.The promenade ends in the new sailing club.
