LIVING BLOOM
‘Living bloomÂ’ is easily to arrange thanks to 12mm thick multi-colored EVA sheets, easy to find through local suppliers. The sheets are in-situ cut by using the 1:1 cardboard templates provided, then stacked and fixed with double-sided cellotape to form a contoured landscape. The result is a fragmented profile, though soft and comfortable. The walls of the container are decorated in pale grey and the container-size white cotton ceiling is streched on a ‘wooden stickÂ’ frame by means of metal clips. 3 horizontal barrycuda (telescopic poles more frequently used for theatrical staging and temporary exhibitions), support both the ceiling and the 3no. wire-framed and cone-shaped light fittings with printed PVC diffuser, its texture being reminescent of the “ermisino” tecnique, a highly refined italian manufacture (image provided). Stripes of 70mmh x 3mm thick beech timber are template-shaped to form fruit trays and eventually laid and glued on top of the multi-coloured curvacious hills.
