Nora: Our house has been nothing but a playroom. I think I am first of all a human creature just like you ...the miracleÂ….we should both transform to the point thatÂ… our living becomesÂ… - H. IBSEN - a dollÂ’s house (1879) - A theatre play has the power to represent and/or criticise with few words and gestures the human lives and situations. This was the time of Ibsen. Our living has changed. Nora is the symbol, the violence, the strength, the integrity. The change comes from the courage to turn tables upside down. Most of our lives evolve around a table: an office desk, a dinner table, a reception desk, a restaurant table, a round-table of expertsÂ… The IDEA is to honestly proclaim - as dramatically as in a play - that in order to live we can and should and must play/plan to Destroy our dollsÂ’ houses: Turn the tables downside up. We want the “miracle” to happen: we want to open the living to life, outside the box.
