Metal slats and vines together form a cohesive structural unit and language for the spaces formed. On a macro scale, they link together buildings, streets, rooftops and parks. On a micro scale, the detail is one that stands as a metaphorical wave, constantly shifting and adapting to the physical migrations and cultural practices that the inhabitants have upon their space. The slat will forever stay unchanging, while the vine will forever have the flexibility to grow and regenerate based on needs. Similarly, the inter-relationship between structure and life is one that passively allows for an interpretation of the space from a natural point of view. The principles of growth, regeneration, proximity and dependability together give Everyville identity and character.
