Tim Durfee has practiced architecture independently and collaboratively in Los Angeles for 7 years. Since then he has been on the design faculty at SCI-Arc, and has taught and lectured at a variety of institutions. He is a partner of Durfee Regn Sandhaus, a collaboration of architects and communication designers and D/R: Design Research with Iris Regn. DRS has designed award winning exhibitions for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, UCLA Hammer Museum, and Huntington Library. His work with D/R ranges from residential and commercial architectural projects to digital interface prototypes and production design of a digital city for television. His work was most recently published in the AD Magazine’s "Architecture and Animation" issue.
