The museum is represented by a tubular structure that will sit directly on the existing carriageway.Within this tube there is a train that will take the visitors on the journey of the renewable energy. The train is hanging from the top of the structure and is powered through solar energy. The solar panels will be placed on top of the tube,on the “roof” of the construction.Through this idea we mean to show that solar energy can be used in structures that require a lot of power, breaking the stereotype that it is only suitable for small objects. It will in itself be a promoter of solar energy and its uses.Plus, the museum has at its core a very innovative technical construction, the solar train,so it is in itself a very environmental friendly structure. The visitors will not only get to see the progress made in renewable energy and acquire technical information when they are in the museum, they get to experience it,even if it is at a smaller experimental scale.Provisional cost ~40 mil E.
