Here we see one of the ‘Future Potentials’ zones in its infancy. The roadway is re-envisaged as a rich and varied asset: an educational tool, a playground of broader energy horizons and a unique attraction for visitors and experts alike. An energy laboratory has already been established and started testing a new kinetic technology. Further down the former highway, new engineered algae-based biofuel has quickly formed a blooming Babylon.

This energy fun palace marks a back-to-basics beginning, yet the provisional costs are not limited to construction. Funding for research residencies are also afforded for teams pursuing clean energy creation. Taking less than 40m Euros, our strategy is to provide both a rich attraction and an unparalleled research and development asset – committing 25% of the budget to funding on-site research residencies.

New, brave, renewable technologies will develop beyond first principles – and drive Solar Park South forward through abundant innovation.
