Sustainability being everyone's concern, this park embodies a unique chance for a broad convergence: offering education, contemplation & recreation to seaside inhabitants, mountain villagers & inter/national travelers altogether. Therefore natural, artificial, existing & projected components merge in an interlacing design.
Daily, occasional or exceptional visits to such a linear park imply specific requests:
Scilla & Bagnara access from edges where main outdoor activities concentrate; top access along wind torrents down to tunnel entrances where cultural & associative events take place; direct highway access in a midpoint where viaducts offer resting or catering spaces & tunnels shelter projections exhibiting the park, its activities, goals, etc.
Lifts bring the sea at a walking distance. Wandering along the park is also incited by rent bikes or shuttles. The promenade scheme consists in a vegetal strip waving between a wide floating river on sea side & a smooth path on land side.
