The heavy duty wooden deck gives the highway a warm touch for its new user – people. The food and beverage service is provided by modular food booth. This reduces both construction and maintenance cost. It also minimize the structural impact and loading on the existing structure.
2. An environmental shelter
The self support shell structure on top is a PV equipped surface. The perforations are arranged in a way that they on one hand capture most of the daylight for the PV and on the other hand provide a balanced lighting condition for the café deck behind.
3. Speedy Highway – the diverted route of new highway
The other highway is kept as an alternative route for the new highway incase of traffic congestion or for maintenance. The two highways appear as a high contrast with their proximity.
