Re:Cycle: From the chariot to the Ferrari, we constantly strive for further development. Project Re:Cycle takes a step back but remains forward thinking. The concept: To show what is already available and to make us consider areas in which we need new development. Re:thinking: Take the 10km stretch between Scilla and Bagnara and turn it into a pedestrian and cycle path suitable for everyone from the cycling enthusiast ready to race or the sightseeing family keen to enjoy the views of the coast. Re:design: Construct solar powered pavilions along the route to provide information on the systems they use to harness energy and supply refreshments for those stopped for a quick break en-route. Re:volution: 1. Make re-use a consideration ahead of re-development 2. Propose the use of bicycle as both ecological transport and a way of improving one’s health 3. Encourage people to visit Southern areas of Italy and promote through tourism 4. Demonstrate solar technologies as ‘ready to use’
