Due to the exceptional edafo-climatic conditions of this area,to its mild weather and its geological morphology, its local vegetation comes to life in a particular form called as “maquis”. Within the selected “maquis” species some were chosen to embrace our landscape in a special maner. From this carefull selection we would like to point out the Cork-oak, Olive tree, Holm-oak, Pine tree, Cypress, Maples, several Citrines, local Genistas, Strawberry-tree, Myrtle, the Mastic-tree and Junipers among some others.
Such diversity presented a challenge that one of the most interesting solutions on the table was to create nothing but a continuous path likewise N.York High-line Project. From green spaces where you could plant and grow your own and real Farmville, to more observed and care botanic spaces passing along cultural and urban spaces like you were in the village. Offering again this road with a splendid view to the people that were used to drive through or see it from beneath.
