| Reuse of the viaduct as part of the Sustainable Linear Tourist Complex is based on giving it new functions and integrating various green energy producing facilities into the construction.Both existing carriageways are enclosed into a “Solar tunnel”:perforated spatial structure clad in solar panels and equipped with wind generators, acting as traffic noise barrier and renewable energy power plant.The viaduct’s pylons at 15m below the coastal road are joint by a steel spatial structure with a linear “Green promenade” roof park;there we placed lobby pavilions of the hotel, suspended on cable ties from the Green promenade structure to ensure seismic safety and lighter weight of the construction.The porous structure allows air circulation and creates micro shadows, reducing air-cooling expenses.The hotel space is cut by a vertical atrium where the rising air drives a horizontal turbine producing energy for the complex.Comfortable accommodation and stunning views for 1000 guests |
