| LocalDesignStudio is a Beijing based firm of architects, designers, and urban planners working between Europe and China. The studio is founded by Marcella Campa, Stefano Avesani, Momo Andrea Destro (Italians); Margret Domko (German); Liu Kai (Chinese), each of the five partners bringing their own cultural background, years of experience, and technical knowledge into the joint office to create a platform to pursue projects from a micro to macro scale. The name LocalDesignStudio refers to an approach undertaken by the design team to respect the given local identity and cultural background of every project and to develop it into a unique and contemporary design.
