| Reuse of structure, demolishing materials and urban waste-flows. Many 1950s apartments do not
meet current housing standards for space or insulation and are therefore being demolished. However some 90% could be reused. In our proposal we keep the structure, put penthouses and
roof-gardens on top and lower the ground floor. With a climatefacade designed as a mosaic of reclaimed window-frames the apartments can be updated and used for another 50 years.
