| Rather than building a typical tourist resort (as a second city center for Split) ‘behind’ one of the major tourism harbour of the Dalmatia, DUILOVO OTOK proposes to create an inhabited island (for tourism development) in front of the harbour.
DUILOVO OTOK provides all facilities for tourism as a single whole: sea-view for all rooms, beach in front of the hotels, shopping on the 3 lower interior levels, restaurants and bars all along the promenade around the island, cultural facilities on the top floor, huge parking serving the whole complex on the middle interior floors, and a sports marina + a harbour for cruises in the Dalmatian islands at the back of the hotels.
