| The Marrubial Avenue becomes a new civic axis that, coming from the external hills, reaches the Guadalquivir river and defines a boulevard restoring the pedestrian paths and green areas system nowadays fragmented. The planned four line road is moved to another site that can deal with the traffic - Cairo Avenue - and trough this operation the spaces around the historical walls of the city are cleaned. A new continuity between different urban sectors is proposed, between the old town protected by the walls and the contemporary periphery outside. There we design a new sequence of public spaces: for events, resting, games, gathering, etc. etc.
