| The competition’s program promotes a rehabilitation operation of a classified building through the reuse of the “Banco de España” installations in Salamanca.
This way, we tried to focus the intervention in a reinvention of the circuit, electing the patio as the ideal spot of this building to take the leading part in this change. The integration of a strange structure in this construction makes this idea come together.
In this case, the helicoidal stairs are the main course during the permanent exhibition and lead the visitors to the patio, making it part of the exhibition itself.
