ISA EXHIBITION PAVILION LISBOA - first prize
In the typological study of the pavilion seemed obvious the need of recovering the genesis of its original structure. To divert the hierarchy of the central tower by opening it completely to the lateral wings while trying to increase its influence area produces, in our point of view, a questionable effectiveness, breaking the space harmony and unbalancing the building scale. From this principle, and not forgetting the acoustic and scale control we created a convex plan (reducing the height in the wings axes and keeping it in the room by the confining plans) invaded by three sizes lenses involved between them in an apparent random order by small saliences.
