| Since client bought this house a year ago, they wanted to functionally adapt this house to their needs and add some functional features.
Client wanted a new outside entrance which would save some space inside, give an impression of entering the house and be a rain/snow protection at the same time. There was also a need for small outside terrace with outdoor kitchen unit and functional solution for south narrow porch.
Every house has a small porch (veranda) facing south with roof overhang of 80cm. Since this area is quite narrow and reliable on weather conditions, we decided to design an insertion of an element which would come out for another 80cm and therefore become a useful space and prolong time of usage. We added sliding horizontal shades to control climate and lighting of this area.
