The use of a roof with the classic slope, an architectural element that is unpopular by architects, was necessary in order to preserve the culture of the area. The goal was to achieve a shift away from today's practice, which, due to roof windows, dormer windows and various ambitious forms, has very little in common with the farm roof from which it is derived. |
