Commission: Competition – 1st prize
Idea: The development’s radiating location around the former Horsens State Prison gives a view over both the prison, or the Castle as it is known, and the surrounding countryside.
The Castle is emphasized as the dominating landmark by keeping the housing within a height limit, defined by the line drawn from the highest point on the Castle to the roofs of the
surrounding houses.
