| “Open Habitats” is an urban planning strategy and a inhabitable prototype conceived for the fragile context of Galapagos Islands. The habitable prototype that we propose starts from three assumptions:
(1) to set up as the construction element of the denser urban network
(2) to give the inhabitants an active role and to make them the co-responsible for the project, through an open architect system, able to absorb different languages and to give them the possibility to expand or even change its typology;
(3) to follow a simplified logic of construction, based on ecological principles;
