It is a project for an outbuilding of approx 30sqm with toilet/shower room set in a very narrow garden.
The main function is private library and studio for a young professional couple living in North London.
The building is designed to excellent sustainable standards and contained costs.
The shape of the roof maximises the daylight exposure and allows for rainwater harvesting.
The interior is completely clad in plywood and has no windows but a large translucent skylight and glazed façade towards the garden.
It also incorporates an existing tree.
