| The project and the workshop served to make it happen, took place as part of the program “Sustainable Reconstruction in Gaza”, supported by the NGO Nobel Peace Prize Handicap International, in collaboration with the University of Palestine. During the course, 50 engineering and architecture students from the Gaza Strip, with the help of 4 tutors and a local construction company: a 1:1 scale prototype, to test the potential of recycled materials and technologies simple but and poor technologies in the construction of small temporary structures, as community centers, stores, classrooms, transitional family dwellings, etc. |
