| The historic center of Volano, borgo, with its richness and spatial complexity, its character and its ability to give continuity to a rhythmic sequence of public and private spaces, forms the starting point of the project proposal. The new design defines, to an urban scale, a connection between the main areas of Community interest through the continuity of pedestrian walkways that link the area of the town hall and the old town with the park DesTor. The built surface is compacted, minimizing the land occupation and energy consumption, providing the space of the courtyard around which the entire project structure. |
