Founded in January 2012, by Evren Başbuğ, Umut Başbuğ and honorary partner Tamer Başbuğ, steb | studio evren başbuğ is the next phase in Evren Başbuğ’s ongoing career as an architect who began practicing his profession in 2006. steb was formed as a medium where the founding partners would be able to reflect their individual and collective knowledge gained by their earlier experiences, to practicing not only all kinds of architectural production from the design of a single building to the planning of large scale urban areas but also in related fields such as architectural educational activities and the development of design concepts in various fields. These experiences, particularly in the area of architectural competitions where the partners had won multiple awards, are the main boost in steb’s early stages.
