Makoto Tanijiri was born in 1974. In 2000 he started Suppose Design Office, an architectural design firm in Hiroshima. His work covers a broad range of areas including designing houses, business spaces, site frameworks, landscapes, products, and art installations. For the projects, he collaborated with structural engineers such as Ono Japan and Nawaken Jimu. In 2008, he started 2nd office in Tokyo, and since the time, he has been promoting many projects both in Japan and overseas. He is currently completed an installation project of TOSHIBA LED light at Milano Salone 2010. He has got a lot of achievements such as the JCD Rookie Award, the Heiwa-ohashi Pedestrian Bridge Design Proposal Competition as a finalist. He is also a part time professor of Anabuki Design College.
