StudioPlusTwo Architects was established in 2006 by Masa and Lav Bratusa and John Ruane with offices in Belgrade, Serbia and Co. Mayo, Ireland. The practice was founded with the intention of making a contribution to the discipline of architecture with every project. Our design approach is based on the exploration of programmatic requirements, construction methods and materials and takes context into account from the initial stage. We take an integrated approach to architecture, and favour collaboration with specialists in many other disciplines. Time, use, circulation, construction methods and other underlying systems and factors are studied and assimilated into the final product. By focusing fully on the requirements and constraints of each project we strive to produce buildings of individual character.
