Rudy Davi (Ferrara 1978) lives and works in Ferrara. He graduates in architecture in Venice. After a four-year experience in the Netherlands, where he worked for studio Snitker/Borst and Dok Architecten, in 2009 he moves back in Italy and he starts his own studio in Ferrara: |dare-architettura| where he leads architectural and design projects. His design language is characterized by a strong combination of forms and mechanics. In 2010 takes part to the workshop “designing the sustainability” with Martin Haas and he wins the competition to partecipate to OpenDesignItalia event and he ranks third in the Beeh Design Contest with his lamp named Pilastro. In 2011 he partecipates in the Fuorisalone in Milan. In 2012 he was invited to exhibit his works at the event Habitat in Ferrara and he won the selection to partecipate to OpenDesignItalia in Venice. Earlier this year he was one of the ten winners of Lexus Design Award with Klava lamp.
