Patricia Lussier and Anna Radice both graduated in 1997 with degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Montreal. The pair came together in 1999 after a few years in private practice; both wanting to create an 'explorative motor' to express their visions of contemporary landscape architecture. The studio, aims to explore both the constraints and potentials of diverse landscapes - be they private gardens, public parks, urban spaces, empty lots, community gardens or roof terraces. Their work is often unpredictable, aiming to surprise and sensitise users to 'contemporary environmental realities' by using unusual, abandoned or recycled materials and most importantly, humour.
