Astrid&Gaston is considered the best restaurant in Latin America (and #14 in the world) The flagship of peruvian chef Gaston Acurio is moving into an abandonded heritage Hacienda from XVII c. now trapped and decontextualized within the city that grew around it. The intervention consists on designing a cutting edge new concept of restaurant/ gastronomic center by restoring the old architecture and inserting an experimental orchard, several kitchen and dining experiences, culinary research facilities and spaces for cultural performances.
