However much writing has evolved, I believe that the desk, as well as being a useful place to write and work, continues to be an object of fascination. In this project I tried to transform the object with reference to the modern-day concept of home-office, making it lighter, more agile and versatile: not an old-style desk with drawers overflowing with paper, but an essential element of furniture, both in function and appearance, something that could fit anywhere in the home
