Romeo&Juliet are very intimate and romantic objects with a story that goes beyond form and function to talk about people: two halves that function perfectly alone, but become a whole when combined together. The inspiration comes from the observation of a woman in the act of covering the food for her partner that was late for dinner. Every design choice acts as an aesthetic hint to the functional and conceptual meaning. This set of plates has various dimensions and they all fit together thanks to the wavy edges that perfectly match each other.
