The observation point is placed on the oriental side of the new bridge, directly accessible from the planned pedestrian and bike route. The body, with a square footprint, is rotated by 45 degrees from the bridge axis so that the foundations won’t interfere with the flowing fluxes, whereas the north-west rotation guarantees a wide panoramic opening towards the sunset. The design solution pursues an integration with context with camouflaging and proposes a red ochre finishing that recalls the natural tints but contrasts with the monotonous tone of the surrounding nature.
