The product is consisted of two different fabric membranes woven around eclipse shaped metal structures flexibly joined on an anodized central column. The product functions as a solar shade, while the different opacities of the fabrics allow the views of the sky and the surrounding buildings to filter through the space below. When viewed from above, they form a landscape of floating water lilies. The end product was designed from concept to execution as an industrial product and an art installation.
