Named Summer Palace, our role in this project was to collaborate with artist Lisa Cheung for art gallery in liverpool the Afoundation to realise her vision for a organicly formed flower stand. The project invited the local allotment community to display their products at the prestigious Southport Flower show. If-untitled supported Lisa Cheung to realise her vision by exploring suitable materials, designing the irregular spiral geometry and forms and finding appropriate construction techniques. The result was an aeronautical wing construction technique, 11 sections of each measuring 2.4m length and 2m was constructed out of custom laser cut sheets of plywood and constructed in the gallery.
